another jelly day

Oh no, it's a jelly day. again...
hari ini merasa seperti jelly.
pyong pyong, goyang kesana kesini.
sepertinya gravitasi bumi berkurang hari ini.
kok kaki berasa ga berpijak ke tanah.

it's me, aku yang biasa.
with my jeans and t-shirt.
with my "ancient" backpack and my new camera.
with a book in my bag, to kill time.
tapi ada yang beda hari ini.
hari ini sendu.

seorang sahabat akan pergi.
pergi untuk mewujudkan mimpi.

i have been knowing her for more than 7 years.
untuk beberapa orang, waktu 7 tahun mungkin sebentar.
but for us, 7 tahun ini meninggalkan terlalu banyak kesan.
bittersweet. tapi pastinya meaningful.
i have been saying this few times before.
but tonight, i want to say it again.
i am grateful to have a friend like you.
yes! you, my friend.

pertama kali ketemu di tempat kosan kita di bandung.
kita langsung "click", dan langsung akrab.
the sincere and kind you.
uhuh (rapper style ^^), that's how you were, are and will be.
tapi dirimu juga tangguh, not a spoiled brat, definitely not.
dirimu yang rajin and good in everything.
you who don't sweat on small things.
and most of all, you who are religious.

yes, religious.
it might be safer for me to say that you are spiritual.
but no, it's not you.
people can be spiritual without knowing their "final destination"
people who are spiritual, get tired easily.

how you live.
how you value things.
how you see the past and the future.
how you cherish each day.
that's religious.
and that's exactly why you are still upbeat until now.
no sign of you slowing down. and that's good!
that's YOU.

we grow up together.
waktu kita kuliah, itu pertama kalinya kita sangat jauh dari orang tua.
punya kebebasan penuh, dan baru mulai melangkah menuju hidup.
learn to be an adult. learn how to live.
tiap hari ketemu dirimu.
cerita2x soal kampus, temen2x kuliah, soal keluarga dan hal2x lain yang skalanya dari "extremely important" sampe "ga penting banget".
dirimu yang rela dikerjain diriku.
mulai dari ngebajak komputermu, makananmu, kasurmu dan CD2x game-mu.
dirimu yang mau disuruh motongin apel dan masakin indomie untuk diriku.
hehehehehehehe.

but, there are plenty of things that I remember from that days.
other than having you to be "bullied" everyday.
dirimu yang siap mendengar cerita2x diriku.
dirimu yang siap menyeretku ke kebaktian dan persekutuan kalau diriku sedang malas.
dirimu yang beliin bubur waktu diriku sakit.
dirimu yang siap menemaniku jalan2x kalau lagi bosen.
dirimu yang selalu ada.

hari senin ini, you will depart.
tadi we had our farewell dinner.
remember the things that I had told you?
you MUST remember them.
well, in case you forget.
here we go again...

"be healthy, eat well, sleep well and enjoy each day!"
"be careful, always be alert!"
"find a good church where you can continually grow in faith and where you can find nice (and not so nice) fellow Christians."
and most of all, be happy!
and when things turn bad, just let me know.
turn on your computer or just give me a call (well, SMS will do too)
i will be more than happy to listen.
and cheer you up in anyway that i could.
i will visit you, and bring you lots of food.

udah lama ga update...
thanks buat yang udah ngingetin.
"sheila, kok blog ga diupdate2x! udah lama pisan."
begitu katanya.
ok, sekarang tak update yah.

kenapa lama banget ga update?
well.... karena terlalu banyak perubahan akhir2x ini.
terlalu banyak hal yang baru, yang menyita kapasitas otak dan hati.
dengan otak dan hati yang masih Duron (silahkan klik disini buat yang ga tau Duron tuh apa.....)
sampe sekarang masih belom bisa meregister semua hal-hal baru ini.
time to upgrade my brain huh...

kerjaan baru, dunia kerja yang ga ada hubungannya sama kuliah.
temen2x kerja baru... well, blm yakin bahwa mereka bisa dianggap "teman" :p
rutinitas baru (yang menyebalkan --> kerja kaya robot dengan batere yang sekarat)
kabar2x baru, terutama tentang seorang teman baik yang akan segera pergi (miss u even before you're leaving!)
rumah di jakarta yang udah setahun lebih tapi tetap terasa "baru".
seems like I will never get used to this house, weird me! maybe.
anak2x (most of them are younger than me) baru di gereja.
suasana baru di lab (Tono udah mulai kerja dan makhluk mars jarang datang sekarang).
suasana baru di rumah (semua orang udah kerja sekarang, miss the good old days!)

hmmm.........
feels like watching Earth revolves while standing at Jupiter's surface.
yup, me...an alien.
i wish for everyone happiness. and pray for it too.
hope that everyone is healthy.
hope your days are full of laughter. a loud one!

yup, i am an alien.
a good one, perhaps....
i won't invade Earth.
just looking at it from far..
