Yesterday, my mom called....
I knew that it was her after she started talking, since all calls from Indonesia are displayed as "anonymous" even though I have that number saved.
This "anonymous" display is a good thing. If mama, mom in Bahasa, was appeared on the screen, I would think that there was something bad happened to my dad.
If *** appeared, I would pretend that I did not see (silent mode) his call.
Well, it's just annoying to hear his voice :)
OK, back to prayers.
We (my family) have been praying for my bro to have a good job whether it is in Jakarta or Singapore. He has all the requirements. Graduated from good school with good marks, worked for almost 2 years before continued his graduate study. His grad study was abroad (outside Indonesia) and he graduated with good marks. It seems like nothing wrong with him, it should be easy for him to be accepted at any company.
Well, that was through our eyes, ordinary people points of view.
We often forgot that God holds the key to everything.
We can do our best, work hard, however the end results are in God's hands.
We pray.
We come to God and try to be brave enough to ask for something.
and at the end of our prayers we must give them back to God.
We've done what we suppose to do.
Now everything is in God's hands.
The one that we can trust the most.
We waited for almost 1 year.
and God answered our prayers at His time.
My bro is now a permanent employee in one of multinational companies in Jakarta.
He's permanent! The probation is only 3 months while most people will have to go through 1 or 2 years contract before assigned as permanent employee.
Praise God.. Praise God...
From this experience I learn to fully rely on God.
To ask God in every plan that we make.
To see everything through God's perspective.
We might think that we have everything that it takes to succeed.
We are not.
We don't have anything unless God gives it to us.
All things come from Him and all honours are for Him.
Thank you God.
