A logbook of a mom-to-be mad scientist -- Week 6

It is official,  I am a mom-to-be...!!!
Praise God.

To make the storytelling easier, let's call the fetus: Baby A.
Why A? Well, not because we plan to name the baby with names starting with the A alphabet.
It is an acronym of Baby Alpha, the First Baby :)

So, an Obgyn had made it official about the existence of Baby A.
What a joyous news to share with the world, but honestly.... It is super scary at the same time.

Growing up meeting a lot of people, I always believe that not everyone is meant to be a parent.
Some people are just incapable of taking care of themselves, let alone a baby.
Others have twisted mind and ideology, and should be put in solitary confinement for the rest of their lives. Do not mention about these people having babies, it is just plain scary.

Here we are, trusted by God to have a child....
Are we good enough?  Am I sane after all those studies?
Am I patient enough to raise a humanbeing who cries and throws tantrum?
I do not have patience to wait for someone for more than 5 minutes. A baby? A serious challenge.

The positive side, I firmly believe in God's grace and mercy.
And of course God's beautiful plan :)

God has trusted me and Mr. J with Baby A.
God has provided love, patience, sound mind to raise Baby A.
So, welcome to the world Baby A.
You are loved, dearly.
