A good news ^^

Hello,

There’s one big, awesome and happy news from me.

My oldest bro is getting married.

Yay...!!!

It’s kind of weird to imagine that your sibling is getting married; having his own family.

Someone whom you’re grow up with.

Someone whom you’ve known all your life...

He will have a wife and (with the grace of God) child/children.

He will live separately from you, and you won’t get to meet him as often as before.

He won’t be (just) your big brother.

He’ll be a husband and, in time, a father too.

Will he change?

He will.

I just hope and pray that he’ll be a better person.

A better son, a better brother, a good husband and father; a better human being ^^

Only few months left before his wedding.

It will be a chaos at home, considering how perfectionist my parents are.

So, I pray for health and strength for my parents.

Hope they won’t need to face unnecessary stress during the process.

I pray for patience and sanity for my brother and my sister-in-law to be, as they will face lots of ‘requests’ and ‘suggestions’ (my parents won’t take ‘no’ as an answer) from many people.

I only care about the holy matrimony at church.

The holy matrimony is what makes them husband and wife.

Not the traditional Bataknese ceremony.

Not the festive dinner reception.

Anyway, hope God provides easiness and smoothness in the preparation and the big day itself.

Hope everyone, especially the bride and groom, are happy ^^
